- Laphroaig Website

We first built the Laphroaig website over 10 years ago, so the site was in urgent need of a refresh. We also had to update the code to .NET from ASP meaning that the new site had to be built from scratch.

We wanted to give the site a more modern feel without moving too far away from the handmade, traditional style that the Friends of Laphroaig know and love. Using the iconic Laphroaig tube as the basis for the design and a variety of beautiful background images taken on Islay, we’re confident that Laphroaig fans will be pleased with their new site.

We re-shot the Laphroaig distillery tour videos in high quality, as well as a tasting video for each expression of the whisky. We also pulled in Twitter feeds and integrated Facebook functionality across the site. Feedback so far has been extremely positive, with over 50,000 hits to the site during the first week.
